You asked for it. Here it is. A place we can discuss our thoughts on the best darn show out there and to share links to other sites with cool theories.
What happened in the season opener? The simple version is that the hydrogen bomb created two separate time lines. In the first, the bomb didn't work, and Kate, Sawyer, Jack, Hurley, and the others flashed from 1977 to 2007, but they remain on the island and encounter the other Others. In the second, the island lies on the ocean floor, and the Oceanic flight lands safely in Los Angeles.
So what are your theories and expectations for this week's episode? Comment below! Let's make this the best virtual meeting place!

Whoa. Neat!
ReplyDeletePeople are still saying that everything is Hurley's dream. Like, the whole series. I say bologna!
I Heart LOST!
Hi All,
ReplyDeleteIt's Kate (Paixao, not Austen), don't mind my weird screen name, it's the name I have for the class I'm taking. Rest assured that kinderscience = Kate.
Ressurected Sayid=Jacob Do you agree?
If this whole thing is Hurley's dream I will be as disappointed as I was at the end of that John Cusack movie!
What the heck was Desmond doing on the plane?!
ReplyDeleteSayid is TOTALLY Jacob now. So I guess Sayid is dead. Very sad. But yeah. I'd bet the farm that Sayid is Jacob. For sure.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really up on what's going on with this show... but hi guys!
ReplyDeleteI agree that it seems Sayid is the new Jacob. But I'm wondering whether that's just what the writers want us to believe because it's A) so simple, and B) it doesn't quite make sense. The Man in Black took the form of Locke, but Locke's body was still in the casket. If Jacob took the form of Sayid, wouldn't there be two Sayids—one dead body and one phantom body? Hmm ...
ReplyDeleteI don't know what Desmond was doing on that plane? Where did he go? Is he still shifting through time? Did Jack recognize him from the time he bumped into him while running in that stadium? Or is he recalling his time on the island with him?
I want to see how the Jack/Sawyer/Jin gang meets up with the Ben/fake Locke/Sun gang!
Hi Jives!
ReplyDeleteI think you should start watching LOST starting tonight and then post comments. It would be interesting to hear what someone who has no background of the show has to say about what's going on.
Ha! Yeah. Do it Jives!
ReplyDeleteChristine, why you gotta go and make sense all the time? Now I have to retract my farm bet. ;)
Remember how the other Others were scuffling with Jack right before Sayid/Jacob woke up? Perhaps that was a diversion so that Jacob could drag Sayid's real body away and lay down in his place.
ReplyDeleteI think I just think too much about "Lost." And who wouldn't? It's the best show ever!
ReplyDeleteKate, I think that makes sense! Maybe the gang will find Sayid's body in the jungle?
I want to know whether Claire is going to show up on the island. I mean, she's not dead, right?
Also, will Charlie and Boone continue to show up in the LA time line?
